This website features eight in-depth lessons focusing on the foundational skills parents need to have to help their children grow up to be happy, secure and successful adults. We realize that there is an avalanche of parenting information out on the web, and in books and magazines. It's virtually impossible for time-strapped parents to wade through this information to find what's most important. That's why we did this job for you. The eight lessons we present cover the foundational knowledge and parenting skills you need to improve your child's social, emotional, mental, and moral development.

Because we realize that simple lessons are not enough to help you apply the knowledge and skills, we have included a discussion forum to allow you to talk with other parents about the lessons as well as other parenting topics. Since parent's often find it helpful to learn from other parents' experiences, we have included parents' stories as they have put what they learn into action. Finally, since one website cannot include all the parenting information you need, we have included a list of reputable, research-based parenting links for you.
